Nigel Lythgoe-led MDA telethon outdoes Jerry Lewis; Carrie, Kelly nominated for CMAs

Although the marathon was significantly shorter and missing its signature Jerry Lewis, the MDA this Labor Day weekend raised more money than last year with Nigel Lythgoe as host. This is the first time Lewis was absent after 46 years. The show didn’t ignore Lewis, providing montages and kind words ...
